About

My name is Jit Gohil and I live in St. Louis, MO. For the past few years I had been working as work as an IT Manager/Webmaster for an office furniture company in O’Fallon, but as of Jan. 2008, I’ve devoted all of my time to my Web Design and E-Marketing firm Dijital Media, Inc.

My passions include all things technological - whether hardware, software or simply electronic.  For well over a decade, I have not only watched this great technological evolution, but I’ve been fortunate to be an active participant.  Educated in both Multimedia (3D Design, Graphic Design, Audio/Video Production, Web Design/Development, Flash Development) and Information Technology (Domain Administration, CRM Hosting, Management of Information Systems) I have had the advantage of understanding both the infrastructure that makes this age of technology so amazing, as well as see the tangible, positive results of applying this technology.

As a member of the Microsoft IT Advisory council and the National Technical Honor Society, I have had the great pleasure of testing new technologies and bolstering support for not only proprietary systems, but for open source systems as well.

As a designer, my goal is to reach into other creative industries to draw inspiration - with the ultimate goal being to define the next generation of human-computer interaction.  As an Information Technology professional, my goal is to bring creative and thoughtful solutions to small and mid-size businesses in order to spur their growth for the betterment of our society.

As a human being, my goal is to educate people on the things that are important to me and that I believe can help them - including how to leverage technology to improve ones life, from the mundane to the profound.

This blog is my attempt to gather my thoughts and chronicle my journey through this life, both professionally and personally.  Though I won’t necessarily bare my soul in every post, you can certainly rest assured that the opinions you read, the perspective that is touted is entirely my own and reflect very much who I am.

That said…  Welcome!
