It shocked the hell of out me too when our dean walked in with more books, me personally I actually wanted to hear what you had to say on here if you hadn't gotten your books, lol. Oh and the pages literally ripped out of the book thing was hilarious. This school never fails. Keep blogging Jit.

That's hilarious - I would think you were kidding were it not for the fact that I was sitting next to the person who had the pages to be copied ripped out of his book. Good stuff.

Like you, I decided to start the quarter optimistically. It was no surprise to me when I read that you didn't receive your books at first. In fact, I stood in line for 15 minutes in front of the bookstore before I found out that one of my books (the book for the class I was missing to pick up my books) was out of stock. That makes... let's see... 8 quarters in a row where I did not have all my books by the end of Week 1.

When I mentioned this to the head of our department, his solution was to grab the book from my classmate's hands and rip out the first three chapters. He turned to my classmate and said, "I'll get you a new book," then turned to me and stated, "Hang on. I'll make copies."

At least one person is proactive in the administration.
