robin -

No, I didn't get a pic of Russell, but I do have footage (HD) with him in it. Eventually, when I get home, I'll do a screen grab from there and add it.

As far as the photo on the beach (sunset) - Thanks, but I can't take credit for that one. That was Justin. In fact he took quite a few of the pics on the trip since I was handling the video. He took a lot of other nice shots, many of which I have yet to upload. But with sporadic Internet access and extremely slow speeds where it IS available, I'll have to wait till I get home. I will take credit for the camera though! :)

As far as a fulfilling New Years Eve... well, I don't know about 'fulfilling' per se, but it was definitely unique and adventurous. I would have preferred it to be less rushed, but c'est la vie.

Do you have a picture of Russell D’Souza, with the unique face?

Some of your photos are quite remarkable, Jit- like the one of the sun setting in front of you at sea. Keen balance, perfect lighting; it speaks.

I'm so glad you had a wonderful time in Goa; it is likely that night will serve as a personal benchmark for the rest of your life. Rarely do we actually *experience* a New Year's Eve that fulfills our expectations of discovery, excitement, and romance- just as this occasion is always portrayed in TV and movies. I experienced only one New Year's Eve spectacular enough to live up to that dreamlike quality; I recall that night quite fondly, each year during the holidays, resigned to the fact that it could never possibly be that magical again. Kudos to you for making the most of it; it will reward you with memories for years to come.
